YouTube founders Chad Hurley and Steve Chen are the ones to introduce MixBit.
Just few days ago, on Thursday august 8th, MixBit was introduced as a third popular short video app right behind Vine and Instagram. This was not a surprise considering the use of video app by smartphone users. However, it is an excitement to see YouTube founders step back into video sharing business.
As you may have guessed MixBit works as Vine or Instagram. The change they brought with the new app is the video length which was set to 16 sec. maximum. It also has all the basic features such as editing the videos, and mixing different clips to make cool short videos.
As of its day of release, MixBit is only available on web based applications and Apple's app store. Android users will have to be patient as the founders have promised a release on Play Store by September of this year.
