Google confirms it has acquired smartwatch maker WIMM Labs

If you are a realist, this move by Google should not and will not surprise you.
Just few days ago, Google officially announced that it has acquired the first android smartwatch maker WIMM labs.
While Sony, Apple, and Samsung are making move that prompts to the release or announcement of a smart watch, Google has decided to spice-up 
things by following the same lead.

Neither Google nor WIMM Labs would confirm that.

This move by Google to get hold of a company that created the first android-based wristwatch can mean quiet a lot. It is likely mean Google is preparing to launch its own brand of smartwatch. It could also mean that with the rise of smartwatch on sight, Google may simply be working on to develop better android system for smartwatch makers.
