5G Network on the horizon

If you have been impatiently waiting for a faster cell data connection, you can cross your fingers for this news to see the day light.

According to a CNN report, the south Korean government is preparing an investment of $1.5 billion towards the building of 5G network.
According to the same report, upgrading to 5G for the south Korean can be done more quickly and cheaper because of the geography of the country.
On the government side, they claim that this move towards 5G is due to the saturation of 4G in the country.

They are planning the launch for 2017 and the big launch for 2020.
Now let's keep in mind that these dates are officials only for south Korea and not America, Europe or Africa. An upgrade in those places would require more infrastructure changes which mean more money to spend. Our best hope here in the US is that the advancement of the technology will make more cellphone network carriers makes their move for 5G.
