Google and Microsoft are Building New YouTube App for Windows Phone 8

It looks like Google finally agreed to make a YouTube app for Windows phone 8. The app will hit the Windows Phone Store in the "coming weeks", Google spokesperson said.

The Two giants finally agreed to work together on the new YouTube app for Windows Phone 8. This new YouTube app is going to replace the old Microsoft YouTube app, where advertisements were dropped and users were able to download videos. Well, let you know Google didn't like that idea.

"Microsoft and YouTube are working together to update the new YouTube for windows phone app to enable compliance with YouTube's API terms of service, including enabling ads, in the coming weeks. Microsoft will replace the existing YouTube app in Windows Phone Store with the previous version during this time." - Microsoft and YouTube Joint Statement.

I think this is a good idea for the two companies to finally come to an agreement. While the two companies are working on the new app, Microsoft released a new app to replace the old one (Microsoft-developped YouTube app).
