This news comes five month after Samsung officially stated, a smartwatch was in there project book. So no surprise here beside the fact that this wasn't expected until next year. Base on the design the device seems to have a power button and a bendable screen.
Rumors state, the company has registered the device "Samsung Gear" in Korea and "Samsung Galaxy Gear" in the U.S.
Just couple weeks ago, we posted an article on Apple's working on a new smartwatch (iWatch). So this news of Samsung coming with new smartwatch just now, proved there is definitely some kind of competition going on, but Apple will not be the only one since Sony also unveiled their new smartwatch (SW2) not a long ago. And no matter what the outcome will look like, we are definitely going to see a new smartwatch by next year.
