Samsung has confirmed to announce Galaxy Gear on September 4

Well we already knew it was coming this September.
Samsung finally confirmed all speculation and rumors to The Korea Times, the new Samsung Galaxy Gear will be unveiled on September 4 at the annual IFA technology trade show in Berlin.

The executive vice president of Samsung's mobile business also states that the new Samsung Galaxy note III (which is expected to be the first mobile device to offer Ultra high definition video recording) will be unveiled at the same event.

Rumors said the Galaxy Gear will have 1.67" AMOLED (320x320 pixels) display, 1GB of RAM, 2MP camera and the Exynos 4212 chipset. One thing for sure the device won't have a flexible screen display, said Lee Young-Hee to The Korea Times. He also states that, "it will lead a new trend in smart mobile communication. We are confident that the Gear will add meaningful momentum to the mobile industry".

But let's not forget that Apple and Google also are working on their SMARTWATCH so let the race begin!
